"God Says I Can't Be Saved!"
 _______________

HERE ARE those who would tell us that God has decided that some were created for damnation and some for salvation, that those created for damnations cannot be saved.  Scripture, however, says the opposite:

18 T he LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

Psa. 145:18

1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Isa. 55:1

9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

Matt. 22:9

Matt. 22:9

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom. 10:12

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Tim. 2:3-4

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Rev. 22:17

God Doesn’t want the insincere in heart to understand Him

We must recognize that there are some from whom God does indeed keep the knowledge of how to be saved.  But that is decided, not by God, but by the person himself!

Scripture tells us that, if one is sincere toward God, and truly wishing to serve Him, and come to a saving knowledge of Him, God will make sure that that person is shown the means of salvation.  But Jesus also told us that, if a person is insincere, or not wanting to completely and truly repent of his sins, Jesus does not want him to do so half-heartedly, and so will hide from him the means of salvation.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.

Jer. 29:11

11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Mark 4: 11-12

13 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Rev. 22: 13, 15

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Matt. 13: 9-16

35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

John 12:35-40

The last thing that God wants is for someone to be insincerely, “saved,” because if it is, his salvation was insincere and not genuine and he will fall away and shame the Gospel.

17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

II Tim. 2:17-19

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

I John 2:19

The devil and man, not God, prevent universal salvation!

If anyone prevents a person from receiving salvation, it is the devil, and his human servants!

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

II Cor. 4:4

16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

I Thes. 2:16

9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

I Cor. 16:9

You, not God, decide whether you will be saved.

So… if you say that God has decided that you will not or cannot be saved, you are declaring that your heart is not sincere before God.  God DOES want to save you, so, in saying that you cannot be saved, you are actually saying that you do not wish to be saved!  In other words, it is your own mouth that is making that decision and condemning you, not God!

5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.

6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.

Job 15: 5-6

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:17

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Acts 16:31

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

I Tim. 2:3-4

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Rev. 22: 17
