TELL OTHERS OF the commitment you’ve made, and be
baptized to make your commitment final. These two acts are outward confessions of the inward decision that we have made. God knows that, “putting our money where our mouth is,” is what makes our decision firm. Although they are outward acts, these are no less important in our decision to live for Christ, than the inward decision that we have made. They are, in fact, the first step forward in the wonderful life that you have just begun! 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
