_______________ "I'm Too Bad a Sinner; God can't or won't save
me!" ESUS CAME to earth to save sinners. 30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against His disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 5: 30-32 And when Jesus bowed
His head on the cross, said, “It is finished,” and dies, He was
declaring that He accomplished that for which He had been sent to earth. NO
ONE can take that from Him! No
one can defeat Jesus, and destroy His what He accomplished! No
one can rob Jesus of the hard-won victory that Jesus accomplished on the
cross! 27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Mark
3: 27 To claim otherwise is to bring into question the very work of Jesus! Blasphemy! Jesus also said that, “ALL sins shall be forgiven!” 28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme. Mark 3:28 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Psa. 103: 2-3 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col. 2: 13 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1: 9 Therefore to claim
otherwise – to suggest that one’s cannot be forgiven - is to make
Jesus a liar! 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son. I John 5:10 Indeed, in order that
He might show His incredible grace, God decided that He would forgive
and convert the worst mass-murderer of Christians in the New Testament:
Paul. This
man, who would become Saint Paul, the great evangelist of the early
church, began his career as a government-approved murderer of
Christians, and destroyer of the Church of God: 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. Acts 22: 4 9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. 11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities. Acts 26:9-11 13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: Gal. 1: 13 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; I Cor. 15: 9-10 God has shown His mercy to the, “chiefest of sinners,” that we might realize His power and grace; His mercy and forgiveness. If Paul, of all people, was forgiven by God made into the greatest evangelist of the New Testament, God can forgive us, regardless of what we have done. NO ONE is too sinful for God to save: 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:
11 In fact, God
decided to make this point the very last thing He would show mankind
during/by the life of Jesus!
A man so sinful he was crucified at the same time as Jesus,
repented of his sins and was immediately forgiven by Jesus! 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Lu. 23:
39-43 Forgiveness is Jesus’ work… (except for
our repentance, to allow Jesus to forgive us) Jesus’ forgiveness has
absolutely nothing to do with us! It’s HIS work! 4 But
God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph. 2:4 And because
it’s JESUS’ work, NOTHING can stop it! 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38 6 Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He Is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. Is. 55: 6
